Back stories is an allegory of the past recounted through the images of the artist’s back that figuratively express the “past”.
The past is part of our history and of who we are today.
All experiences, good and bad, the joys and pains of life, the people we meet, dreams and goals, have marked our lives and weavedour present.
Now they stay behind, behind us, but they continue reminding us where we come from, where we are and where we want to go.
Although we have our roots in the past, sometimes we stay trapped in it and we carry in the present the weight of its being.
We cannot forget it but neither can we look back.
Sometimes it haunts usother times it just falls into oblivion where everything becomes blurred and undefined.
We have to preserve the past because it is part of our history, it is part of us, like our back that, from behind, always follows us.
