Inspired by Shakespeare

Fine art photography by Alessandra Favetto

Inspiration comes from everywhere!

Wether it’s a song, a book, a smell, a quote or a movie, inspiration can hit you at any time and in any place.

That’s why I always keep several notebooks around, one or two at home and one following me all the time in my bag. Whenever I hear, see or experience something that is worth keeping in mind for future inspiration I write it down on my notebook. It’s a habit I have since long before starting my journey in photography so I have plenty of material to go back to when I need it.

This phrase is one of my favourites! I wrote it down on my pocket moleskine about 18 years ago! It’s from William Shakespeare‘s Hamlet:

One of the images that I can relate to this quote is the one above “Love yourself”, from the “Creatively” collection.
“This above all:
to thine own self be true,
And it must follow,
as the night the day,
Thou canst not then be false to any man.”
Thank you William for the inspiration!
