The story

This artwork was made in 2018 and it was inspired by the blood moon, the total lunar eclipse of july 27th 2018.

I remember staying in the fields at night with my camera ready to catch this beautiful and awesome natural event.
As it took some time to get the right shot and to wait until the moon was completely red, I named the image after this patient night.

It’s of course a self-portrait although I’m hiding behind my lovely red moon that I patiently waited for.
